Coach, AIDS National Marathon Training Program
Trained more than 1000 runners to complete their first marathon, raising more than $10,000,000 to fight AIDS.

Ran 27 marathons in 23 years, including eight Boston Marathons. More than 100 first place divisional finishes in marathons, 5k`s, or 10k races over that span.

I have been coming to Palm Springs since I was a boy back in the 1950`s to my uncle's Deep Well Guest Ranch. I have lived most my adult life on a beach in Malibu, but during the 1970`s and 1980`s I left that little strip of paradise once a month to escape to Palm Springs where the air was clear, dry, and balmy and stress didn't exist.
