The Well in the Desert wishes to thank the Bank of America for its generous donation of $5,000. Thanks to the efforts of Jim Bruner and Christy Gordon the difficult time of summer and dwindling donations were offset by their help. This summer saw so many more people than normal at our Saturday grocery distribution. With so many people gone for the summer financial aid was greatly decreased. B of A came to our rescue, and on October 4th. held a reception in their newly opened branch in Palm Springs where the check was presented to Dr. McKinny and Board members. We wish to thank Congresswoman Bono and her Chief of Staff Frank Cullen for bringing the Well in the Desert to the attention of the bank, and again, heartfelt thanks to Jim and Christy on behalf of all of our clients. We know our future relationship will be a good one.

SpurLine Video Lounge

SpurLine Video Lounge, at 200 S. Indian Canyon Dr., specializes in various video theme nights at our club.
Our number one attraction is our ShowTune video nights on Fridays and Mondays. Our presentation of the best of stage and screen musicals is a huge crowd pleaser. In addition, we also have Retro video night on Wednesday. We also have a live variety show on Saturday night and Karaoke on Thursday night.

The Morongo Band of Mission Indians sponsored Thanksgiving 2007 at the Palm Springs Convention Center. Their donation helped make the holiday special for over 750 people. Many thanks to our good neighbors to the West who make their generosity felt throughout communities far and wide.
